AT16’s New Site

Posted by AT16 on July 9th, 2008

As you may have seen from the site’s post frequency, the site has kind of died. Never fear though, I have created a new site called A Psychotic Gamer, however it is only maintained by myself. New information about this site’s fate will come later on.

Find it at: at16.personallog.org.

Guitar Hero: Band Versions

Posted by AT16 on June 5th, 2008

This is for all our rockers and/or gamers. Activision has announced two new games under the Guitar Hero series, the first one releasing later this month is Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, featuring all Aerosmith songs. Also the second is due in Q1 of 2009 under the title of: Guitar Hero: Metallica, obviously featuring Metallica songs such as “One”. Both these games have been announced for PS3, Xbox360, and the Wii. I really doubt its going to stop there, down the road I predict (this isn’t for sure) there will be more games featuring even more bands, this is a very popular game, and I doubt its going to die down anytime soon.

Keeping you informed about the plastic axe games,

AT16’s Rant: GTA IV

Posted by AT16 on June 1st, 2008

Hey hey hey! We haven’t been posting for a while (since May) and that is just because nothing has been happening, and school has been busy. So to kick off the start of June I am releasing this article. A lot of people have been talking about a new game that has just been released. It’s controversial. It’s got parents and Jack Thompson foaming at the mouth. It’s from Rockstar Games and it’s, Grand Theft Auto IV.

Wii Fit

Posted by AT16 on May 8th, 2008

Okay, news once again has been slow around May and we apologize for the Gaming Industry for not being so exciting. However this one has been around for a while and its for all our casual-gamer-readers (yes I hyphenated it). It’s Wii fit and releases May 21st in Canada. Lets get one thing straight, this game is not for people with “unforgiving mass” and those who do not like moving, however, this game will help those people if they are not too lazy to get off the couch. Seriousness aside, let me get back to my usually joyful writing style. Wii fit is well a fitness game, which uses a new peripheral for the Wii, it’s called the balance board. It uses sensors to calculate how you are balancing to determine what action you’re doing.

Hey guys, iDori here. Well, as you might have seen in my review about Initial D, I love racing games. Apart from that, I’m pretty much obsessed with cars and want to drive really damn badly… I also want to drift to learn to drift as soon as possible… So from this dream a hobby other than gaming was born for me… RC Drifting!

An MMO Game For The Wii?

Posted by AT16 on April 24th, 2008

Stray Bullet Games has announced after breaking away from Wolfpack studios, their first game is going to be a MMO for: you guessed it! The Wii! the game which is untitled as of yet. Most people thought they would explore the graphically superior PS3 or Xbox 360, but as many people including me say: graphics don’t make the game; and it seems Stray Bullet Games is following that saying. I think they are trying to implement some use for the Wii remote (as many are). Along with that they are asking for an employee with “experience developing and shipping title(s) on Wii and/or GameCube platform.” Aside from some concept art they have only promised the gameplay to include “a fully-realized, ongoing online conflict that combines furious action with tactical and strategic game play.” All I know is this game is going to be interesting to say the least…

New Gamecube Controller

Posted by AT16 on April 23rd, 2008

Hey it’s been a long time since we’ve posted, we apologize for that, but it has been a slow month for gaming. However Nintendo has changed that, they are releasing a new Gamecube controller, which is white to match the Wii and has a longer cord, for those who like to game on the couch not the floor. However this new controller is only for release in Japan, and there isn’t any news about it coming to North America. Nevertheless, if it does come to North America it’ll do us all some good. I myself have been searching a long time for a Gamecube controller to go along with my copy of Brawl/Melee and one thing that really bothered me when I borrowed it from my friend, was the cord and how short it was, so the new longer cord is good news to me.
